    I have an older model nuvi that is very dependable. I did not hesitate to purchase this one for my daughter who is now living away at college. She loves it because it is very easy to use by entering address or a place of interest.     My Garmin nuvi is great. It is small enough to fit in my purse and doesn’t obstruct my view on the windshield. It is quick to turn on, but it can take a couple minutes to acquire satellites if I’ve taken it down. Otherwise, everything is very fast and accurate. I really like that it can find a location by the name, address, or you can just look up a particular type of store and see what is nearby. The only thing I don’t like is that when I go from the map to the written directions and I want to go back to the map, I have to hit “back” and not “map”, or it takes me to a zoomed out map of the area. Otherwise, I think it is pretty intuitive. I already recommended it to a family member, and they now have one too.
